Dr. Justina Hyfantis earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She completed her internship at the UTK Student Counseling Center and postdoctoral training at the Counseling and Psychological Services Center at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. As an experienced higher education professional and licensed psychologist, she is dedicated to providing exceptional supervision and training to graduate and professional students. Her clinical experience includes specialization in individual and group therapy for young adults, career counseling, and academic success. Dr. Hyfantis’ approach to both clinical practice and supervision is integrative and primarily influenced by interpersonal process, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic theories, couched within a strengths-based lens.
