Dr. Coleman earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021 with a concentration in child and adolescent developmental psychopathology. Her theoretical orientation is broadly cognitive-behavioral integrated with developmental and family systems perspectives. Dr. Coleman has delivered cognitive-behavioral individual, family, and group-based therapies within community mental health and medical settings to children and adolescents with internalizing and externalizing difficulties. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at Virginia Treatment Center for Children. Dr. Coleman is eager to supervise the treatment of anxiety in children, adolescents, and adults. She is also comfortable supervising child and adolescent assessment cases with concerns related to internalizing difficulties.
