Amber Rochette
Amber Rochette, PhD is a licensed psychologist and fellowship-trained clinical neuropsychologist working in a private practice setting. She earned her doctoral degree from Kent State University, interned at the Ann Arbor VA, and completed her fellowship at the University of Michigan/Ann Arbor VA consortium. She sees adults 18+ for neuropsychological assessments, with a focus on working with individuals affected by neurological (e.g., movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, stroke) and neurodegenerative conditions (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, frontotemporal dementia). She has a passion for conducting therapeutic neuropsychological assessments and carries a small therapy caseload to address areas of need identified in the assessment process; this may include CBT for insomnia, behavioral modification for optimizing brain health, adjusting to major life change/diagnosis, and caregiver support. In supervision, she utilizes a developmental model, with heavy involvement in cases initially and a move toward more autonomy with increasing competency.
